If you are seeking a base from which to explore Devon, then Tracey Mill is ideally located. Situated near the crossroads of the A30, A35, A373 and A375, it is within easy reach of the primary routes to the North, South, East and West of the county.
The nearby town of Honiton is a good place to explore locally, especially on market day every Tuesday and Saturday when the High street is full of stalls selling local produce, crafts and gifts. In the Allhallows Museum you will find a comprehensive collection of the world famous Honiton Lace. Why not also visit The Thelma Hubert Gallery, the only free admission art gallery in the region, where you can see displays of the artist's work together with regular exhibitions of work by national, international and contemporary artists.
The Regency sea-side town of Sidmouth is only 10 miles from the mill and is a good starting point to explore the beaches and towns along the famous Jurassic Coast. Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis are all close by.
If you fancy the more rugged coastline of North Devon, the surfing beaches of Woolacombe are an easy 90 min drive away or you could be walking in the middle of Dartmoor within an hour
For a larger shopping experience you can vist the Cathedral City of Exeter (12 miles).
Or if history is more to your liking then there are no less than 35 National Trust properties in the county.
If you have nothing planned, we always keep a selection of leaflets advertising local attractions so we are sure you will find something nearby to interest every member of the family.
